This project created a the side return rear extension to an existing terraced property which aimed at enhance the living space within the house. By strategically opening up the kitchen and dining room, we have created a large living space for cooking dining and entertaining guests.

One of the standout features of this extension is the innovative use of a triple glazed glass roof supported by glulam beams. This design choice not only adds a contemporary aesthetic to the space but also serves a functional purpose by allowing an abundance of natural light to illuminate the interior. The play of light and shadow created by the glass roof throughout the day adds a dynamic element to the architecture, further enhancing the overall ambiance of the extension.
